Day 3 - Casablanca...

after a gap of one day. Well i kinda sprained my back with these late night movie marathons. Watched casablanca and frankly i do not know who are the actors...got to do wiki on them. the movie was made out of book and i want to read that one now.

well one thing i noticed the girl was beautiful. reminded me of days of sharmila thagore and waheeda rehman. beautiful ladies. Liked the movie, the apt songs but it is not something which pulled me. the love story aspect of the love story did not appeal to me. except the fact that a guy had to wait for girl waiting at a station in rain with eager and latter turned to sad face.

the song "as time goes by".....its awesome....

for me watch it for dialogues and cynical protagonist with sadness in his eyes.

"the world will always welcome love as time goes by".......bonne nuit.....kung fu Panda is in action....so the wisdom of old turtlr or master will come your way tomorrow.

for the starters.....a duck can have a panda son :P....GN :)

Day 2 - A Few Good Men

My favorite Tom Cruise movie. I hate it when Sagar (my bro) can repeat dialogue of Jack Nicholson with same intensity and does not miss a word. Even though it is not in IMDB’s list. The movie is worth a million watch and a day spend on.

Two great and powerful actors and cute Tom Cruise, but he steals the show. Even though I like “ you want me there , you need me there”…..”we use words like honor…..”…..these add the dynamism to the movie and Jack Nicholson takes it to another level.

I’m amazed by the intensity with which Tom Cruise acts. From a person who is all bothers about baseball and his team rose to defend something which is wrong. Sometimes we have things hidden deep down but we just refuse to realize it and bring it out. But surprisingly something major brings that thing out in us. In this process of transformation do we have forget our real self. No, stay connected to who we are.

I saw it first time cause I thought I loved Tom Cruise in it. I see it over and over because the planning , courtroom and baseball bat pulls me. After a bad and long day it was respite.

Tomorrow, Casablanca and Dead Poet's Society.....

Day 1 - Godfather n Inception

all  my movies ran out of my computer. needed new movie to go with my coffee. went out and rented few DVD's from local video shop. those two movies defined something i wanted to do. I have my bucket list but am i trying to complete it????

so here i sit to complete my IMDB top 250 movies.......im starting with Godfather (The Godfather)......read that book so many times.....n movie it sw defining....wat makes it click for me was when u read the book and see the movie u can relate to each charater as if they are born to play those roleas.Behind every fortune there is crime.....and behind this one Mario Puzo.

Inception : the new No 1, nothing can beat it...the movie does not make you sad or happy or you leave the movie without any emotion. It was logically built over a illogiical thing. i was amused by the way it was constructed and to Nolan who even thought about his dreams. Must watch.
